Farmington Hills, Mich. – (Apr. 14, 2015) – CCE, a leading engineering software and
services provider, announced that it has strengthened its 20-year relationship by
successfully renewing its multi-year CAD interoperability agreement with Tebis AG.
"Our relationship with Tebis is very special. Tebis develops high-end CAD/CAM systems for
tool, die, and mold manufacturing, and has been using CCE's CAD interoperability solutions
for over 20 years! They work with the world's top organizations that put our interoperability
technology to the test every single day. As a downstream application provider, Tebis values
advanced CAD interoperability and we are fortunate to have been partnered with them for
so many years. We are pleased to have successfully renewed our relationship with them
recently," said CCE's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vinay Wagle.
All of Tebis' direct CAD interfaces are developed by CCE, which includes formats like CATIA
V4 (Read & Write), CATIA V5 (Read & Write), Siemens NX (Read & Write), SolidWorks
(Read), PTC Creo (Read), JT (Read), and Parasolid (Read).
Tebis' Director Channel Sales, Gerardo Mueller, added "CCE has been a great partner for
Tebis for the past 20 years. All of our direct CAD interfaces are based on CCE's
interoperability technology. We have a very demanding customer base, predominantly in
the automobile industry; this includes companies like Audi, Daimler, BMW, VW, Opel, Ford,
JLR, Skoda, Volvo, Mazda, Honda, and Toyota, among others. For these OEMs, seamless
collaboration in a multi-CAD environment with a global supply chain is critical. CCE's ability
to keep their technology current with support for latest CAD versions & formats, their
technical responsiveness, and their overall expertise in CAD interoperability has been a key
factor for Tebis to have a successful long-term relationship with the automotive OEMs and
their supply chains".
CCE provides software development tools for engineering application providers to access
native 3D CAD data in their applications, without investing in software or licenses of the
CAD systems that produced the data. CCE uses its own proprietary technology for these
development toolkits and does not base it on any third-party application/component. CCE's development tools are seasoned, well-architected, and helps achieve complete CAD
interoperability with very little effort. They are very robust and currently being used not
only internally for CCE products, but also by a number of leading MCAD software ISVs
(Independent Software Vendor). Applications developed using CCE's development tools are
independent of any form of CAD software or licensing.
