At Weather Shield, our engineers regularly collaborate between our various plants and remote team members. We have used various screen sharing apps for this purpose. Although these tools worked for regular team meetings and video calls, for serious product design reviews and engineering discussions with complex CAD models, we quickly realized they were deficient. That is when we tried EnSuite ReVue. ​
ReVue clearly was created ground up with engineers in mind. First off, we did not have to upload files to their servers. That was a huge relief given all the concern that companies have with intellectual property and uploading proprietary data on the cloud. The quality of 3D rendering, the speed of response and refresh rates when we interact and rotate/zoom the model was also excellent. But the best part was the ability for each participant to take local control of the CAD model and do their sidebar analysis without disrupting the meeting for others. ​
We have found ReVue to be very useful for all our engineering collaboration needs.​
