| Yes. Oceans SDK is completely independent of any CAD software licensing and can be used to create applications that are independent of CAD. |

| Oceans SDK supports Windows 32 and 64 bit computing environments and select UNIX flavors. API’s are available as object-oriented C++ API and as Web services. |

| How do you distribute Oceans SDK - static library or DLL? |

| Both. Based on your requirement, we could distribute either a static library or a dynamic library (DLL). |

| How do I evaluate Oceans SDK? |
|
| We provide time-limited trial/evaluation of Oceans SDK. Evaluation periods are typically from 30 to 60 days. Evaluations are free of charge and you receive full support during the evaluation period. The trial package comes with complete documentation, use cases and sample programs. You will however need to sign an Evaluation Agreement prior to working with our SDK. |

| How do I license Oceans SDK? |

| Oceans SDK is licensed on a flat annual subscription fee basis. Each CAD format support can be licensed separately. This model is however “per named product” and not “per company” that licenses Oceans SDK. |

| Do you share code samples, use cases? |

| Our trial/evaluation package includes complete documentation, use cases and sample programs. |

| Do we need prior knowledge of CAD API’s to work with Oceans SDK? |

| No. You do not need any prior knowledge of API’s of other CAD systems. Oceans SDK provides a single API for all CAD formats. |

| Will my application’s licensing be restricted by Oceans SDK’s licensing architecture? |

| No. Oceans SDK is not licensed per se. You can use your own licensing architecture for ‘locking’ your software. |

| Is Oceans SDK dependent on any third-party technology like Parasolid? |

| No. Oceans SDK is completely independent of any third-party technology. You do not need to license any such technology to work with Oceans SDK. |

| What about enhancements and new releases? |
|
| Oceans SDK follows a release/development schedule that is shared with our customers. Per this release schedule, we typically have 3-4 releases every year including CAD version support updates, general enhancements & bug fixes. We are committed to updating Oceans SDK to support latest versions of CAD formats within 90 days of general availability (GA). All customers are eligible to receive all updates at no extra cost during the subscription period. |
