CCE’s Free Multi-CAD Viewer, EnSuite-View, Gains Traction with Bounding Box Tool
Users Can Easily Find the Bounding Box of Parts and Assemblies

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – (Jun 08, 2016) – CCE, a leading provider in advanced interoperability technology and engineering services, has discovered that the bounding box tool, in EnSuite-View, has been extremely popular among its users.

The bounding box tool, in EnSuite-View, is used to find the bounding box of parts and assemblies. The following features can be viewed while using this tool:

  • Bounding box extents, for the selected component, along the global X, Y, and Z directions
  • Bounding box, along the desired directions, by selecting one of the existing coordinate systems and specifying two perpendicular directions
  • Actual part volume and box volume
  • Graphic representation of the bounding box and the option to change the transparency of the box

EnSuite-View is a free and easy-to-use software that allows users to view all major CAD formats (CATIA, NX, SOLIDWORKS, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, Rhinoceros, Parasolid, ACIS, IGES, STEP, JT, VDA, SketchUp, and Adobe 3D PDF), as well as neutral formats, without requiring a license of any CAD system. EnSuite-View also features advanced productivity tools, which allow users to analyze models and assemblies.

For users simply looking to access critical engineering information that resides in CAD data, EnSuite-View is the answer.
